Payment statuses

Once confirmed, the payments would proceed to the automated processing phase with several different payment statuses before reaching the final status - processed.

A payment can have the following statuses:

Status	Description
INSERTED	The payment draft is created.
ERROR	The payment failed. For the outgoing payments: • The payment details are incorrect. • There are issues with the currency exchange process. • There were issues with the payment settlement process. For the incoming payments: • The payment details are incorrect.
WAITING_FOR_FX_QUOTE	The status of the outgoing FX payments. The payment is waiting for the currency exchange quote.
WAITING_FOR_APPROVAL	The payment is waiting for approval (4 eye process).
PENDING	The payment is manually or automatically approved; waiting for confirmation.
WAITING_FOR_CONFIRMATION	The status of the outgoing FX payments. The payment is ready for the confirmation, as the FX quote was received from the provider.
WAITING_FOR_AML	The payment is waiting for the AML detection.
AML_REVIEW	The payment is under the AML review.
AML_APPROVED	The AML review process approved the payment.
AML_DECLINED	The AML review process declined the payment as suspicious.
WAITING_FOR_SETTLEMENT	The status of the multi-currency payments. The payment is waiting for the settlement process.
WAITING_FOR_TRANSACTION	The payment is waiting to be delivered to the beneficiary.
PROCESSED	The payment is delivered to the beneficiary account.
WAITING_FOR_RETURN_APPROVAL	The status of the incoming payments. The payment is waiting for the approval to be returned to the sender.
RETURNED	The payment is returned to the sender.
CANCELLED	The payment is cancelled.
