Add BIN

The Bank Identification Number (BIN) refers to the 6 or 8 digits of a card’s Primary Account Number (PAN). This set of numbers identifies the issuing institution of the card. All payment cards come with a BIN.

Add BIN

To define a new BIN:

  1. Cards > Settings > BINs.

  2. On the BIN list page, click Add new BIN. Enter the following:

    • BIN number - The value must be 6 to 8 digits long.

    • Processor refers to the cards payment processor.

    • Select the corresponding BIN scheme - Mastercard or Visa.

    • Select Status code you would like to apply - Active or Inactive.

    • Organization unit field is filled by default and cannot be edited.

Search BINs

To view the list of BINs, go to:

  1. Cards > Settings > BINs.

  2. On the BIN list page, you can search BINs with the status.

A BIN scheme can be Mastercard or Visa.
