PAN settings

In the Primary Account Number (PAN) settings section, you can specify the key parameters related to the card number structure, such as PAN length, Bank Identification Number (BIN), sub-BIN number, BIN range start/end, and PAN range depletion warning.

Below, you will learn how to associate PAN settings with a card product. You can either add new BINs or choose from existing ones.

Create a new BIN for the card product

To create a new BIN for the card product, scroll down the New card product page to the PAN settings section, then follow these steps:

  1. Click Create BIN.

  1. In the New BIN number modal, enter the required parameters, then click Save.

Set PAN settings for card product

To set PAN settings for the card product, scroll down the New card product page to the PAN settings section, and enter the following parameters:

Field name
Description

PAN length *

Enter the PAN length.

Note: The length of a payment card number should be a number between 13 and 19, including both.

BIN number (6 or 8 digits) *

Select from predefined BINs specific to the Card scheme.

Note: For information on adding BIN numbers, see Add BIN.

Sub-BIN (up to 5 digits)

Enter the sub-BIN.

Note: The sub-BIN defines the account range within the BIN. It consists of up to five digits that issuers can use to identify different card products or currencies.

BIN range start *

Enter the BIN range start within the full PAN-free range.

BIN range end *

Enter the BIN range end within the full PAN-free range.

PAN range depletion warning

Define the remaining number of PANs at which a notification will be triggered to warn that the PAN stock is running low.
