MCC settings
In the MCC settings section, you can manage Merchant Category Codes (MCC) to control transaction authorisations by categorising merchants according to the goods or services they provide. MCCs are four-digit codes used for this classification.
The MCC (Merchant Category Codes) are four-digit numbers used to categorise the transactions and to classify merchants and business by the type of good or services provided.
The Tuum system allows setting up two types of MCC groups:
Whitelist - only authorisations with MCC groups listed in the whitelist are allowed; all others are declined.
Blacklist - authorisations with MCC groups listed in the blacklist are declined.
