Schedule custom repayment frequency

This guide explains how to configure repayment frequencies that differ from the default settings defined in the Product setup. You can define custom repayment schedules for individual customers to accommodate specific needs, such as weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payments.

Custom repayment frequencies are subject to the following limitations:

• Custom repayment frequencies must be configured before the contract is activated. Once a contract is active, the payment frequency (for example, switching from monthly to weekly) cannot be modified.

• The last day of the month cannot be selected as a payment date for semi-monthly or monthly frequencies.

• Payment dates must be at least five days apart to preserve the intended biweekly or semi-monthly structure.

You can define custom repayment frequencies at two specific stages of the loan lifecycle:

1. During offer creation

2. During initial contract creation
