Create loan offers

This page outlines how to create loan offers in the BackOffice. It starts with an overview of the two loan offer management scenarios, followed by detailed instructions for creating a loan offer in the system.

Loan offer management options

The loan offer is the second step of the loan origination process after the loan application. The input data for creating the loan offer comes from the loan application.

There are two scenarios of how you can manage the loan offer processing:

Loan applications with Tuum
Loan applications outside of Tuum

You can create a loan offer directly from a loan application using the API endpoint:

You can proceed by creating a loan offer via BackOffice or by using the Loan offer API:

When you create a loan offer via the API, the prefilled loan application will be visible in BackOffice.

Create loan offer

To create a loan offer, follow these steps:

  1. From the content menu, select Loans, then Loan offers.

  1. Click Add at the top of the page.

  2. The Create loan offer page opens.

  3. Enter the loan offer details, then click Create.

Add custom fields to loan offers

Custom fields can be added to loan offers when you have enabled this feature.

Enable custom fields for a loan offer

To enable the custom fields for the loan offer, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Administration > Settings > Custom fields. The menu on the left displays the modules according to your subscription.

  2. Select Loan > Offer on the content menu.

  1. Click Add field set to add a new set of fields.

  2. The Create field set modal opens.

  3. Add a new field set ID and field set name, then click Create.

  1. You can also edit existing fields by clicking Edit, or delete them by clicking Delete.

Add custom fields to a loan offer

To add custom fields to the loan offer, follow these steps:

  1. Click Add custom field.

  1. The configured Field set parameter appears. You can add multiple custom fields by clicking Add custom field again.

  2. Select or enter the details for each custom field, then click Create to finish creating the loan offer.
