Create loan contract

To grant a loan to a specific borrower, you must create a loan contract.

• If the loan offer was created and accepted in Tuum, the contract is generated automatically. You can then find and activate it.

• If the loan offer is created and accepted outside of Tuum, the loan contract must be created manually following the steps below.

Create loan contract manually

To create a loan contract, follow these steps:

1. Find the borrower's person page.

2. From the content menu, select Loans, then Loan contracts.

1. Click Add at the top of the page.

2. The Create loan contract general info page opens.

3. Select the organisational unit and loan type.

1. Enter the loan contract details, then click Create.

The available loan contract sections depend on the configuration of the selected loan type.

The new loan contract will initially be in draft status and is almost entirely editable. To make the contract operational, you need to activate it.
