Manage card design codes

The card design code is a unique identifier assigned to a specific card design, pre-agreed with the physical card production provider for plastic cards, and with the XPays service provider for tokenised cards. The assignment of this design code is mandatory for physical cards and optional for tokenised-only cards.

The type of card product determines which design codes are available. During the application process, a cardholder selects a specific design code, which is then assigned to the card upon issuance. If the card is replaced or renewed, the cardholder has the option to choose a different design code.
