Interest rate cap

The interest rate cap defines the limit of how high the interest rate can be.

Add interest rate cap types

Currently, it is possible to add the interest rate cap type via API only.

The rest of the features supporting the interest rate cap are available through the BackOffice interface. Below you can find more information.

As a first step, you must to the Tuum system by calling the interest rate cap API.

Add rate cap fixing

Once the interest rate cap type is added to the Tuum system, you can add a new interest rate cap fixing via the BackOffice:

  1. Administration > Reference data > Rate cap fixings.

  2. Click the Add new interest rate cap > fill in the interest rate cap details.

  1. Click the Submit button.

Approve rate cap fixing

Approve interest rate cap fixing via the BackOffice main page:

  1. Click the Tuum logo in the upper left corner.

  2. On the main page, scroll to the Common settings > Pending 4eye processes.

  3. Click on the Process ID to view the 4eye review process details.

  4. Click on the Source ID to view the decision-making modal.

  5. Choose the Accept or Decline options.

Via the Administration menu:

  1. Administration > Reference data > Rate cap fixings.

  2. Search for the rate fixing that requires approval.

  3. Click the Identifier to view the rate details > Choose the Accept or Decline options.

A similar is enabled for the interest rate caps. Once a new rate cap fixing is added, it is set to the Waiting for approval status. To activate the interest rate cap fixing, it should be approved.

A 4eye confirmation is optional. You can enable/disable the 4eye confirmation when adding a .

Find interest rate cap fixing

If you want to find the current interest rate cap fixings, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Administration > Reference data > Rate cap fixings.

  1. Select the search parameters and > Search to filter the results.

  1. Click the particular Identifier to view the Interest rate cap fixing details.
