The Bank Identification Number (BIN) refers to the 6 or 8 digits of a card’s Primary Account Number (PAN). This set of numbers identifies the issuing institution of the card. All payment cards come with a BIN.
To define a new BIN:
Cards > Settings > BINs.
On the BIN list page, click Add new BIN. Enter the following:
BIN number - The value must be 6 to 8 digits long.
Processor refers to the cards payment processor.
Select the corresponding BIN scheme - Mastercard or Visa.
Select Status code you would like to apply - Active or Inactive.
Organization unit field is filled by default and cannot be edited.
To view the list of BINs, go to:
Cards > Settings > BINs.
On the BIN list page, you can search BINs with the status.
