You can perform the following operations with cards:
When the API requests are sent to Nets in the card creation process or for any other updates, the Card process steps page displays all the steps initiated for the card.
You can access this page from Cards > Search > Cards, and select the card whose details you want to see. Select Process steps from the content menu.
The following screenshot shows a sample Card process steps page:
For error cases, click Details to view further information about the process step. The Dead letter details pop-up box opens and you have the option to retry or discard the step. You can also access the failed process steps from the dashboard of the BackOffice.
If any of the process steps has an error, the card status remains in the intermediate state IN_CREATING. If all the process steps are successful, the card status moves to the next allowed status - VIRTUAL, OPEN, or ACTIVE.
Custom booking refers to the functionality to manually create card transactions in case of bank errors, or to record transactions which can’t be initiated by the system or by the customer.
To access the Search custom bookings page:
Click Cards > Search > Cards, and select the card whose details you want to see.
Then select Custom booking from the content menu.
On the Search custom bookings page, you can search the custom bookings that are initiated for the card and create a new custom booking.
Click New custom booking to create a card transaction.
The parameter details are as follows:
The Direction field refers to incoming or outgoing card transactions.
Select a Transaction type from the list of options. The options displayed depend on the Direction of the transaction that you have selected.
The Value date rule field refers to the date on which the transaction takes place. The Value date rule can be set as:
Approval date - The date on which the transaction is approved.
Entered date - The date on which the transaction is entered into the system.
The Available balance field displays the amount available on the card.
Enter the Amount and select a Currency from the drop-down menu for the custom booking.
Enter the description in the Details field.
You can select the option to Apply fee for the custom booking if required.
You can access the Card renewal page from Cards > Search > Cards, and select the card whose details you want to see. Select Card renewal from the content menu.
Keep the following points in mind for card renewal:
A card renewal fee can be applied when required.
The renewed card is assigned a new PAN.
The same PIN can be used for the renewed card.
Upon activating a renewed card, the old card is closed automatically. If not closed, the expired card is closed automatically by the system at the end of expiry.
The renewed card will inherit the design of the old card.
The renewed card will have the default expiry as defined for the card product.
The customer and the bank employee can change the design and the delivery address of the renewed card.
The card renewal process starts automatically according to the values defined in the system property. There are 4 properties defined for this in Administration > Settings > System property. Select the Cards option from the content menu and you can edit the values for the following parameters:
CARD_RENEWAL_MONTHS_AFTER_LIMIT - Number of months after card expiry when card renewal is allowed.
CARD_RENEWAL_MONTHS_BEFORE_LIMIT - Number of months before card expiry when card renewal is allowed
CARD_RENEWAL_PROCESS_FINISH_MONTHS_BEFORE - Number of months before card expiry when the card renewal process is finished automatically.
CARD_RENEWAL_PROCESS_START_MONTHS_BEFORE - Number of months before card expiry when the card renewal process is triggered automatically.

To renew a card manually, the following conditions must be met:
The card must be active.
The card must be renewable. See the card details to know if the card is set as renewable.
If you are renewing before the card has expired, the number of months currently remaining before the card renewal is allowed must be less than the number of months defined (CARD_RENEWAL_MONTHS_BEFORE_LIMIT).
If you are renewing after the card has expired, the current month must be equal to the number of months after the card expiry when card renewal is allowed (CARD_RENEWAL_MONTHS_AFTER_LIMIT).
A card renewal process can be in one of the following states:
Waiting
Approved
Rejected
Finished
The Search cards page is designed to help you efficiently locate and manage card information.
To search cards, follow these steps:
Go to Cards > Search > Cards.
On the Search card page, click Search to view all the cards or filter the results by entering different parameters:
You have the option to order a plastic card after the application is completed and the card has been activated.
To do this:
Search for the card by clicking Cards > Search > Cards.
Select the card number you want. The card details page opens.
If the plastic card has not been ordered, the Order plastic option is displayed.
Enter the address details and click Submit.
The Card details page is where you can view specific information related to a particular card and initiate operational actions associated with it.
You can perform operational actions related to the card in three different places.
The buttons at the top of the page let you perform the most common card operations, such as activating or closing the card and accessing additional similar card operations.
Links within the page content enable changes to card usage and limit groups.
The content menu is an entry point for viewing and editing the more complex card features not fully visible on the card details list.
More detailed instructions for these actions can be found in the following sections.

You can order a plastic card when you are creating the card application. For more information, see .
When multiple card price lists are allowed per card product, you can replace the one assigned to a debit card, gift card, or prepaid card to ensure the most relevant pricing is applied.
To replace card price list for debit card, gift card, or prepaid card, follow the steps below:
Go to Cards > Search > Cards.
Search for the card for which you want to replace the price list.
Select the card number to see the Card details page.
In the modal that opens, enter the required details:
New price list
Select a new price list from the drop-down menu.
Note: Only price lists valid on the current date are visible.
Starting from
Select the start date from which the new price list will take effect. Note: The start date must be in the future.
Note: The price list for cards cannot be replaced if the card is already closed.

Find the Card price list row and click Edit.
Managing card limits and settings is essential to regulate card usage and maintain spending within authorised limits.
In this section, you will find instructions on how to replace card limit and card usage groups, update card limit amounts, and change card settings.
Here are the parameters for the card limit amounts.
Limit type*
Shown in read-only mode, this field displays the specific limit type code to which the limits are applied.
Each limit type allowed by the currently active card limit group is displayed in a separate row.
Transaction limit*
The allowed transaction limit, specified in the card's currency.
Daily limit*
The daily limit amount, specified in the card’s currency. It must be equal to or greater than the transaction limit.
Monthly limit*
The monthly limit amount, specified in the card’s currency. It must be equal to or greater than the daily limit.
Here are the parameters for the card limit group modal.
Current limit group*
Displays the limit group currently assigned, allowing you to see the current setting before making changes.
New limit group*
Select the new limit group from the list, which includes all limit groups allowed by the card product.
The limit group defines the set of limits, including their maximum and default amounts.
Starting from*
Select the start date when the new limit group will take effect.
Note: If you select the current date, the new limit group will be applied immediately.
In this chapter, you will find information on how to replace the current card limit group with a different option that is allowed by the card product. Here, "replace" refers to changing or substituting one limit group with another.
Complete the following steps to replace the card limit group:
Go to Cards > Search > Cards.
Locate the card for which you want to replace the limit group.
Click the Card number to open the Card details page.
If the supplementary card shares the transaction limit with the main card, you cannot change the limit group for the supplementary card.
The Change limit group modal opens with the current limit group prefilled.
Select the new limit group from the drop-down list and enter the start date from which it will be applied.
Replacing the card limit group will deactivate the current limits as of the selected date and activate new limits based on the defaults of the chosen group starting from that date.
In this chapter, you will find information on how to replace the current card usage group with a different option that is allowed by the card product. The usage group specifies which card services are permitted based on the type of authorisation. Here, "replace" refers to changing or substituting one usage group with another.
Complete the following steps to replace the card usage group:
Go to Cards > Search > Cards.
Locate the card for which you want to replace the usage group.
Click the Card number to open the Card details page.
The Change usage group modal opens with the current usage group prefilled.
Select the new usage group from the drop-down list and enter the start date from which it will be applied.
Find the Limit group row and click Edit.
Find the Usage group row and click Edit.
This guide shows how to update card limit amounts. The new limits take effect immediately.
To update card limit amounts, follow these steps:
Go to Cards > Search > Cards.
Locate the card whose limit amounts you want to update.
Click the Card number to open the Card details page.
Select Card limits from the content menu.
The Change card limits page opens and displays the currently effective limits.
Update the required limits, then click Save to confirm your updates.
The transaction, daily, and monthly limits must not exceed the maximum limits specified in the active limit group assigned to the card.
Here are the parameters for the card usage group modal.
Current usage group*
Displays the usage group currently assigned in read-only mode, allowing you to view the current setting before making changes.
New usage group*
Select the new usage group from the list, which includes all usage groups allowed by the card product. The usage group defines the set of allowed authorisation types.

POS purchases contact (chip)
A purchase transaction where the card information is read from the chip using a contact-based method.
E-commerce purchases
A subtype of purchase transactions where the Point of Service (POS) code does not indicate that the cardholder or the card is present.
POS purchases card contactless
A subtype of purchase transactions where the Point of Service (POS) code indicates PAN auto-entry via contactless.
Magnetic stripe
A purchase or cash transaction where the card information is read from the magnetic stripe.
Cash withdrawal
A transaction involving the withdrawal of cash from an ATM.
Purchases with Cash Back
A transaction in which only part of the authorised amount is used to pay for goods or services, while the remaining amount is returned to the customer in cash.
Account funding
VISA only. A purchase transaction that can occur in a card-present, card-not-present, or e-commerce environment. An Account Funding Transaction (AFT) is a type of "pull" payment, where the payment service provider pulls funds from the cardholder’s account. The receiver initiates the transfer of funds from the sender’s account to their own.
Quasi-Cash
VISA only. Quasi-Cash transactions refer to the purchase of items that may be convertible to cash, such as foreign currency, casino chips, cryptocurrencies, money orders, lottery tickets, and travellers cheques, among others.
Purchase refund
A credit transaction that reverses a previous purchase.
Deposit (ATM)
The process of depositing cash using a specialised automatic cash-in device. This typically requires a specific agreement with the processor to recognise the operation type.
Moneysend payment transactions
A payment type in which funds are transferred directly to the recipient’s card account.
Balance inquiry (ATM)
A non-financial transaction that allows a cardholder to check their current account balance at an ATM.
Statement (ATM)
A non-financial transaction that allows cardholders to view a brief summary of their recent transactions at an ATM.
Is card renewable?
Indicates whether the card can be renewed upon expiry.
Provisioning a network token allowed
Indicates whether the card can be added to a digital wallet by provisioning a network token.
Go to the Card application search page from Cards > Search > Card applications. You can search card applications and details using any of the following fields:
An application status can be:
Waiting
Completed
Rejected
Canceled
Click Cards > Search > Credit offers to view details of the existing credit card offers.
A credit card offer can have one of the following statuses:
PRESENTED - Presented to customer
ACCEPTED - Accepted by customer
DECLINED - Declined by customer
CANCELLED - Canceled by bank

From this page, you can enable or disable authorisation types and adjust additional settings. All updates are applied immediately.
To update card settings, follow these steps:
Go to Cards > Search > Cards.
Locate the card whose settings you want to update.
Click the Card number to open the Card details page.
Select Card settings from the content menu.
The Change card settings page opens and displays the currently allowed authorisation types and additional settings, based on the active usage group.
Adjust the preferred settings by enabling (selecting) or disabling (deselecting) the particular option, then click Update to save your changes.
To create a credit offer, go to Persons > Search. Select the person you want to create an offer for. On the Person details page, from the content menu, under the Cards section, select Credit card offers.
On the Credit card offers page that opens, click Create offer.
On the Create credit card offer page, enter the following parameters:

Servicing account*

The credit score is the rating that represents the ability of customer to fulfill financial commitments, based on an analysis of their credit history.

The interest conditions displayed depend on the credit product.
After the offer has been created, you can edit, cancel, decline, or accept the offer.
To create a card application, go to Persons > Search. Select the person you want to create an application for. On the Person details page, from the left-hand pane, under the Cards section, select Card applications.
On the Card applications page that opens, click Create application. You can create a new card or a supplementary card application for a debit or credit card.
If you are creating a new card application, select the Application type as New card and enter the following parameters:

This section is displayed only if you have selected the Order plastic option. Enter the address and contact details. You can select the fast delivery option if you need to.
Credit details
This section is displayed only if you are creating a credit card application.
Allowed authorisation types
You can edit the list of allowed authorisation types. Keep in mind that the displayed authorisation types belong to the usage group that you have selected previously.
Limits
You can edit the limits of the limit types that are displayed. Keep in mind that the displayed limit types belong to the limit group that you have selected previously.
When you have entered the details, click Submit.
Select the Application type as Supplementary card.
Select the main active card associated with the person.
Enter the details of the cardholder. You can search for another person by clicking the search button.
The billing address cannot be edited.
Select if you want to share the transaction limits with the main card. If the limits are not shared, then each card uses its own limits.
Click Submit when you are done entering the details.
Select the price list associated with the card product. For information on price lists, see .
Select a usage group for the card application. For information on usage groups, see .
Select a limit group for the card application. For information on limit groups, see .
The interest options that are displayed depend on the selected credit product. For details about the fields, see .
Go to the Search card credit contracts page from Cards > Search > Credit contracts. You can search credit card contracts using any of the following fields:
Click the Contract number from the search results to view the contract details. For the credit contract, you can do the following:
Create a new contract version - You can change the contract conditions from the list of options.
Close the contract permanently.
Withdraw a certain amount from the credit account to the servicing account.
Repay a certain amount to the credit account from the servicing account.

Go to Cards > Search > Credit contracts.

In the modal that opens, enter the required details:

Note: Only price lists valid on the current date are visible.
Starting from
Select the start date from which the new price list will take effect. Note: The start date must be in the future.
Note: The price list for credit contracts cannot be replaced if the credit contract is in default or closed.
Go to the Search card renewals page from Cards > Search > Card renewals. You can search card renewals using any of the fields shown below. The Date from and Date to fields are mandatory.
Click the Technical identifier from the search results to view and manage the renewal details. From the content menu, you can manage the card, change the card limits and settings, and replace the card. You can also view the card transaction history, and create and search for custom bookings.
The following screenshot shows a renewal page:
Go to the Search transactions page from Cards > Search > Network transactions. You can search card transactions using any of the fields shown below. You can set the transaction period by selecting Today, Yesterday, Current month, or Last month to search for transactions. You also have the option to export the results as a CSV file.
From the content menu, you can search transactions, reservations, fees (and book new fees), interest, invoices, and funds. You can also create for transactions.

Find the Price list row and click Edit.
From the search results, click the ID whose details you want to view. You can also change card limits and other settings from here. For information about card product settings, see .
Go to the Card funds search page from Cards > Search > Funds. You can card funds using any of the fields shown below. By default, the list of funds is displayed which have the Status as Available and Date Type as Posting Date.
You can create and order cards that are not personalised. The cards can later be linked to a person or an entity.
You need to carry out 2 steps:
Generate the batch order.
Allocate the pre-ordered card to a person.
To view the list of existing batch orders and to create a new batch, go to Cards > Search > Batch orders.
To create a new batch order, click Add new batch order. On the New batch card order page, select the card product and other details.
After creating a batch, you can allocate the card to a person. Click the change iconto create a new card application from the batch. You can create a new card or a supplementary card application.
A card clearing report summarises data from messages sent by card schemes and issuers. Its purpose is to assist the issuer in reconciling transactions and the associated fees for the cards issued.
This chapter provides guidelines on exporting card clearing reports from Tuum and troubleshooting reconciliation issues by extracting transaction details from clearing messages.
Here are the parameters for the financial position detail CSV file.
fileDate
The file reference date, parsed from the file ID.
fileId
File ID that uniquely identifies a logical data file to be exchanged between a customer or processor and the clearing system (PDS 0105). The file ID consists of four subfields:
File type, located at positions 1–3;
File reference date, located at positions 4–9;
Processor ID, located at positions 10–20;
File sequence number, located at positions 21–25.
messageType
The message type in reconciliation messages identifies the transaction function to which the reconciliation totals pertain (PDS 0372). The message type consists of two subfields:
Message Type Identifier (MTI), located at positions 1–4;
Function code, located at positions 5–7.
messageReasonCode
The message reason code provides the message receiver with the reason for sending this message (DE 25):
6861 – acknowledgement reconciliation;
6862 – notification reconciliation.
reconciledProcessingCode
Reconciled processing code indicates the processing code or transaction type that the reconciliation totals apply to (PDS 0374).
debitsTransactionAmount
The total of transaction amounts that have a debit impact on processing (PDS 0390), expressed in the reconciliation currency.
creditsTransactionAmount
The total of transaction amounts that have a credit impact on processing (PDS 0392), expressed in the reconciliation currency.
netTransactionAmount
The net total of transaction amounts with both debit and credit impacts on processing (PDS 0394), expressed in the reconciliation currency.
netFeeAmount
The net total of fee amounts with both debit and credit impacts on processing (PDS 0395), expressed in the reconciliation currency.
netTotalAmount
The net total of transactions and fee amounts (PDS 0396), expressed in the reconciliation currency.
reconciliationCurrencyCode
Reconciliation currency code (DE 50). The clearing system accumulates totals in the reconciliation currency.
debitsTransactionCount
The number of transactions whose transaction amounts have a debit impact on processing (PDS 0400).
creditsTransactionCount
The number of transactions whose transaction amounts have a credit impact on processing (PDS 0401).
totalTransactionCount
The number of transactions whose transaction amounts have either a debit or a credit impact on processing (PDS 0402).

Message reversal indicator identifies a message as a reversal of a previous message (PDS 0025).
To export Mastercard clearing reports as a CSV file, follow these steps:
Generate the report.
Download it.

To generate Mastercard clearing report as a CSV file, follow the steps below:
Go to Cards > Reports > Clearing reports.
On the Card clearing reports page:
Select Mastercard
from the Product scheme dropdown.
Select one of the following values from the Report type dropdown:
Choose the date range you're interested in.
Click Export as CSV to generate the report.
To download the generated Mastercard clearing report, proceed with the steps listed below:
Go to Reports > My reports.
Locate your generated report and click the link in the Files column to download it to your computer.
After downloading the CSV file, you can open it in any Excel-like application to view the data organized in columns. The screenshot below shows a filtered version of the report.
On the My reports page, to narrow down your list of reports, use the search function by clicking Search. Filter the reports by generation type, group type, status, or date, then click Search to apply the filters.
Here are the parameters for the fee collection CSV file.
fileDate
The file reference date, parsed from the file ID.

Transaction originator institution ID code (DE 94).
originatorReferenceNumber
The fee collection control number assigned by the originator of the fee collection message (PDS 0137).
processingCode
Transaction code (DE 3):
29 – fee collection (debit to transaction originator);
19 – fee collection (credit to transaction originator).
transactionAmount
The fee collection transaction amount in the transaction currency, excluding any transaction fees (DE 4).
transactionCurrencyCode
Transaction currency code (DE 49).
reconciliationAmount
The transaction amount value, converted to the reconciliation currency (DE 5).
reconciliationCurrencyCode
Reconciliation currency code (DE 50).
additionalData
Additional data contains one or more PDSs that may be required in a message to provide clearing system-related, program-related, or service-specific information when no specific ISO data element is available (DE 48).
reversalIndicator
Message reversal indicator identifies a message as a reversal of a previous message (PDS 0025).
You have the option to search the reconciliation messages and fee collection messages, viewing their details on the screen. These views are helpful because they allow you to search by specific codes or IDs to identify and resolve discrepancies. See the instructions below for more details.
To search for reconciliation messages, complete the steps below:
Go to Cards > Search > Reconciliation messages.
On the Search reconciliation messages page, if necessary, enter additional search parameters and click Search:
From the search results, click the Message ID to access the reconciliation message details. The following screenshot shows the reconciliation message details for a financial position detail received from the clearing system.
To search for fee collection messages, complete the steps below:
Go to Cards > Search > Fee collection messages.
On the Search fee collection messages page, if necessary, enter additional search parameters and click Search:
From the search results, click the Message ID to access the fee collection message details. The following screenshot shows the fee collection message details.

You can manually correct accrued interest within the credit contract based on business needs. Go to the credit contract details page using one of the following options.
Go to Cards > Search > Credit contracts and search the credit contract by Contract number. Click on the Contract number to go to the credit contract detail page.
Go to the Person > Search and search the person by any known parameter. Click on the Identification number to go to the person detail page. On the content menu, select Cards > Credit contracts. Click on the Contract number to go to the credit contract detail page.
Click Interest on the content menu to access the interest details.
Click the Make interest correction button on the interest details page.
Enter the necessary details for the interest correction.

If left empty the value will be NULL.

If left empty, value will be NULL.
Click Submit to complete the interest rate change.
To search for card contract write-offs, follow the steps below.
Go to Cards > Search > Credit contracts to find the card contract in question.
Click the contract number to access the contract details for the card contract.
From the content menu, choose Write-offs.
Fill in the search parameters > Search.
Click on the Identifier to open the write-off details.
Writing off a credit card contract is essential when an accumulated debt is deemed uncollectible after exhaustive collection efforts.

To create a card contract write-off, follow the steps below.
Go to Cards > Search > Credit contracts to find the card contract in question.
Click the contract number to access the contract details for the card contract.
From the content menu, click Write-offs.
Click the Create write-off button.
Fill in the write-off details, check the items to be written off, and then click Create.

Note: Credit contracts with open instalment plans can only be entirely written off after the instalment plan is terminated.
To reverse a card contract write-off, follow the steps below.
Click the Reverse write-off button.
Fill in the Description field > Save.
and ensure that it is in the PROCESSED
status.
