Set up loan campaign

To set up the loan campaign, go to:

  1. Loans > Products > Campaigns > click the Create campaign button.

  2. Fill in the Campaign details > click the Create button.

Field name
Type
Description

Name*

Number/ Text

Enter the name of the loan campaign.

Campaign validity*

Date

Enter the dates when the campaign is valid.

Note: on the start date, the campaign is already valid; and the end date invalidates the campaign.

Applying rule*

List

Select how the loan campaign is applied:

  • Always - applied automatically when a new loan application and offer are created.

Campaign code*

Number/ Text

Enter the campaign code.

Note: this field is available only when the applying rule is by campaign code.

Campaign benefits

Button

Select the button to add campaign benefits.

Benefit type*

List

Select the benefit type:

  • Payment leave,

  • Decreased rate,

  • Fee leave,

  • Instalment leave.

Note: You can add more benefits by clicking the Add New button.

Component

List

Select the loan component to which the campaign will be applied. You must choose one fee type. The available values:

  • For decreased rate benefit, select one fee type to which the campaign will apply:

    • Commitment fee,

    • Interest.

  • For fee leave benefit, select one fee type to which the campaign will apply:

    • Account administration fee,

    • Loan certificate fee,

    • Contract changing fee,

    • Disbursement fee,

    • Document copy fee,

    • Debt settlement agreement fee,

    • Due date change fee,

    • Payment holiday fee,

    • Premature repayment fee,

    • Reminder fee,

    • Billing administration fee,

    • Loan top-up fee,

    • Contract termination fee.

Discount/Value

Number

Enter the discount or value amount.

Period type*

List

Select the campaign period type. The available values:

  • Number of interest periods - the campaign benefit will be valid for a number of interest periods.

  • Number of payments - the campaign benefit will be valid until a defined regular payment date.

Number

Enter the number of interest periods or the number of payments.

Only the BackOffice users with the CREATE_LOAN_CAMPAIGN privilege can create new loan campaigns.

You need to take two actions to make a loan campaign applicable to the loan product so that created new loan applications/offers/contracts include discounted terms during the campaign validity period.

Apply campaign to product

Once the loan campaign is created, you can determine loan products to which the campaign would be applied. Select an existing loan product from the drop-down list in the Applied to loan products section and click the Add button.

  • When you apply a campaign to a loan product, that does not affect the existing applications/offers/contracts created before.

  • The BackOffice makes verification that the borrower does not apply two campaigns with the simpler benefits for the same period to the same loan product.
